Edit your YouTube videos with Claude, for free.

VibeCut is a free skill for Claude. Give it your raw talking-head footage, and it edits a finished YouTube video. No editing software.

You'll need a paid Claude plan (Pro or above) and the Claude desktop app on the computer with your footage.

Then you give notes, like you would to an editor.

It listens to every take, keeps the best clean attempt of each line, and cuts stumbles, false starts and long pauses.

No script needed. It works out your topic, cuts the tangents and puts the rest in the order that reads best.

Motion graphics in your brand, B-roll, music and sound effects, with the sound mastered for YouTube.

Name an app or website, and it shows it looking like the real thing, timed to the word that names it.

VibeCut is free. It runs inside Claude, so you need these first.

A paid Claude planPro, Max, Ultra, Team or Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, your organization's owner turns on the settings.
The Claude desktop appOpen on the computer that has your footage. Claude can only reach your files while the app is open.
Your footageOne camera file of you talking. A separate mic, screen recordings, music or a logo are all optional.
Google Chrome (optional)Only if you want stock footage from a stock site.
